5052
Alloy 5052 contains 2.5% magnesium. Its tensile strength ranges from 31 to 44 kSI. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, workability, weldability, and mechanical strength. It is used in aircraft fuel tanks, window shutters, refrigerator liners, utensils, electronic mounting plates and panels, fan blades, and other materials. It meets AMS QQ-A-250/8 and ASTM B209 specifications.
